The high-resolution representation of the wavefield in both space and time will be exploited to further study the ambient noise that is distributed around the Stromboli volcano. Approximately 1 ???????? of fiber-optic cable was deployed on the Northeastern flank at September 2020. The dispersion curve of group and phase velocity obtained by the time-frequency stack of the cross correlation of the ambient noise will be inverted to obtain the shallow structure of the volcano. In this study, two distinguished area around the fiber optic cable are characterized showing different phase velocities. Shallow subsurface structure on the two area is obtained from the inversion and shows a high accordance with the previous study. This result inferred new insights of DAS potential on recording seismic signals and volcano monitoring text |
