Summary: | Jakarta as a metropolitan city is faced with the risk of flooding caused by the rapid increase in land subsidence. The problem of flooding in Jakarta can be overcome by using the polder system. The polder system is a water management system in an area that is located below sea level. The Kamal Polder System is a project planned by Dinas Sumber Daya Air DKI Jakarta as an effort to deal with flooding in Jakarta, especially in the northern area of Jakarta City. In order for the polder system to prevent flooding, this final project discusses hydrological analysis and hydraulics analysis of the Kamal polder system. The hydrological analysis in this Final Project includes processing of rainfall data, topography, and land use to obtain the planned rain discharge, while the hydraulic analysis includes calculating the need for drainage channels, water pump capacity, and retention ponds to meet the planned rain discharge needs. Based on the results of the process carried out, a total planned rain discharge value of 223.13 m3/s was obtained which was divided into 12 sub-catchments, the need for drainage channels which included the slope of the channel and channel dimensions for each sub-catchment, the required water pump capacity to be used, and The required retention pond capacity is 4230000 m3 with an area of 90 ha and a depth of 4.7 m.
