INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/77802 This study aims to analyze the roles and collaboration among actors within the pentahelix group in the development of creative village tourism. The research will examine how contributions and collaborations are undertaken by relevant parties in the development of creative village tourism and formulate a development strategy for the village using the pentahelix approach. The process of developing creative village tourism in the Braga area involves various forms of cooperation and contributions from different parties that are part of the pentahelix group, namely the Government, Academia, Community, Business, and Media. In the process of developing creative village tourism in the Braga area, a close collaboration among various parties is evident. The Regional Tourism Authority (Disbudpar) is striving to activate 8 tourism villages within a 5-year period, and one of them is the Braga village. The activation of the tourism village is based on the unique history and characteristics of the Braga area, and its designation as a tourism village has been regulated by Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2018. However, initially, there was no clear assessment or evaluation prior to the activation of the creative village tourism in Braga by the Disbudpar of Bandung City. Before the activation of creative village tourism in Braga, Disbudpar provides orientation to relevant parties regarding the concept and tourism programs that will be implemented in the Braga village. Assistance in the development of the tourism village is carried out over a period of 3 months, with Disbudpar as the program initiator involving external parties, including academics and expert advisors. Although the assistance program originates from Disbudpar, the execution in the field involves external parties, such as academics and expert advisors. The research findings indicate that the direct involvement of Disbudpar in the assistance program is a crucial factor in understanding the actual conditions on the ground and gaining insights into the challenges faced by the local community. Additionally, the presence of a local champion in Braga, who is highly dedicated, significantly contributes to assisting the local community. The collaboration among the government, academia, community, and the active role of media coverage in Braga also contribute to the success of the assistance program. Furthermore, the role of businesses in the Braga village is also quite significant, empowering the local community to work within their businesses. Businesses also contribute to infrastructure improvements and the provision of goods for the village, as well as providing financial support to the Braga community. In conclusion, cross-sectoral collaboration involving the government, academia, community, business, and media plays a crucial role in shaping an ecosystem that encourages innovative and sustainable growth of creative tourism in economic, social, and environmental aspects in the creative village of Braga. text |
