In order to increase the companies' performance to gain a sustainable competitive advantage at a global level, PT XYZ Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk, a company that produces food and UHT processed aseptic beverages needs to increase their productivity levels in every segment possible. This might be realized by measuring the total productivity level and partial productivity levels that consists of production, organization, sales, product, labor, and capital productivity levels.<p>The total productivity measurement was conducted by using David J. Sumanth's productivity measurement model with its productivity cycle concept that covers measurement, evaluation, planning, and improvement aspects. Partial productivity measurements were conducted by using Habberstad's partial productivity measurement model (POSPAC) that was adapted with the PT XYZ Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk. financial data report. Both models only measured tangible input and output, in Indonesian Rupiah. <p>According to the productivity measurement's results between 1994-1998, production, sales, and capital productivity levels showed positive growth. While total, organization, product, and labor productivity levels showed negative growth.<p>There is a relation between each partial productivity's levels with profitability levels. If each partial productivity levels can be increased, the company can gain a higher profit. With the productivity levels measured and analyzed, PT XYZ Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk. will be able to arrange a specific target to be achieved in the next few years.
