Summary:Macapat is one of Central Java cultural inheritance that should have been proud of. Despite that, the number of people, especially the young generation interested in regional literary works like Macapat keeps on decreasing. The local government has already put Macapat into the local content curriculum, but at the practical level it still has not been able to attract children’s interests. On grade 3-4 elementary school, students in Central Java region have already begun to learn about their first tembang Macapat, Pocung. So, a media to teach and introduce them to the concept of Macapat in a more enjoyable way is needed. One of the most suitable media is boardgame because it fits the nature of children who like to play. Thus, the boardgame further goal is to become one of the medium to teach elementary school children grade 3-4 in Central Java on tembang Macapat concept
