Description
Summary:The need for water continues to increase in the Banten and DKI Jakarta areas due to the increase in population every year. Therefore, an offshore reservoir scheme is planned at the mouth of the Cisadane River which aims to accommodate water reserves for the residents of Banten and DKI Jakarta. This offshore reservoir is planned to be located at the mouth of the Cisadane River which has a watershed area of 1,284 km2 and a river length of 80 km. With the existence of an offshore reservoir, a complementary building is also needed in the form of a mud bag which has the function of trapping sediment. The mud bag is planned to use a Q80 operating discharge of 35.9 m3/s. In the planning, sediment data in the form of sediment gradation is also needed which is then collected directly at three points on the Cisadane River. From this final project, a mud pocket with a length of 515 m and a width of 65.5 m is planned, in the middle of which there is a diversion wall.
