ODOL vehicles have become a serious problem as they are one of the factors causing road damage and traffic accidents, especially on toll roads. The purpose of this study is to observe the proportion of ODOL trucks on Indonesian toll roads and the factors that influence ODOL operations from the perspective of owners and drivers. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to a total of 134 truck drivers, each containing 49 questions which needed to be answered by every respondent. The questionnaire items used in this study were constructs derived from the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Legal Sanctions, and Non-legal Sanctions, and Health Belief Model (HBM). Respondents provided answers on a likert scale ranging from "strongly disagree" to "strongly agree" to assess perceptions and factors influencing the operation of ODOL trucks from the driver's perspective. The results indicate that the percentage of ODOL trucks on Palimanan – Kanci and Jakarta - Tangerang toll road is 37.78%. Among the alternative models for modeling the intention of ODOL truck operation the combination of HBM and Legal and Non-legal Sanctions appears to be the most suitable for modeling the intention of ODOL truck operation. Meanwhile, the factors influencing the operation of ODOL trucks are perceived behavioral control, perceived severity, perceived barriers, cues to action, and non-legal sanctions. Subsequently, the perceived severity construct is the most influential factor on ODOL truck operation intention. text |

The Over Dimension and Over Load (ODOL) vehicle is a type of vehicle whose
dimensions and load exceed the established standards. ODOL vehicles have
become a serious problem as they are one of the factors causing road damage and
traffic accidents, especially on toll roads. The purpose of this study is to observe
the proportion of ODOL trucks on Indonesian toll roads and the factors that
influence ODOL operations from the perspective of owners and drivers.
The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to a total of 134 truck
drivers, each containing 49 questions which needed to be answered by every
respondent. The questionnaire items used in this study were constructs derived from
the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Legal Sanctions, and Non-legal Sanctions,
and Health Belief Model (HBM). Respondents provided answers on a likert scale
ranging from "strongly disagree" to "strongly agree" to assess perceptions and
factors influencing the operation of ODOL trucks from the driver's perspective.
The results indicate that the percentage of ODOL trucks on Palimanan – Kanci and
Jakarta - Tangerang toll road is 37.78%. Among the alternative models for
modeling the intention of ODOL truck operation the combination of HBM and
Legal and Non-legal Sanctions appears to be the most suitable for modeling the
intention of ODOL truck operation. Meanwhile, the factors influencing the
operation of ODOL trucks are perceived behavioral control, perceived severity,
perceived barriers, cues to action, and non-legal sanctions. Subsequently, the
perceived severity construct is the most influential factor on ODOL truck operation
intention.
