The estimated number of color-blind individuals reaches 8.5% of the total human population. With the advancement of technology presenting various digital content across various media, especially websites, it undoubtedly affects a significant number of technology users who face difficulties in accessing such content. One alternative solution is to create an interface specifically designed for individuals with color blindness. However, this poses its own challenges, as designers, who generally have normal vision, may not be familiar with the perception of color-blind individuals, and also there is no metric to assess whether an interface is perceivable by individuals with color blindness or not. In this final project, an evaluation system has been attempted to be designed, which allows designers to understand the visual perception of color-blind individuals and provides an assessment to determine the suitability of an interface design for color-blind individuals. The interface evaluation method is based on edge detection algorithms and is considered a novel proposal. Therefore, the testing conducted still focuses on arguments demonstrating the advantages of the proposed method. Even though it is limited to an argument, the test results indicate that a evaluation system has been successfully implemented that can display the differences in visual perception between individuals with normal vision and color- blind individuals, while providing edge detection-based evaluations with open opportunities for further development or testing. text
