Description
Summary:The design for the construction of the Bandung Fashion Hub Building, which is located on Cikapayang Street, Bandung is consists of 3 buildings connected by a small bridge with a combined basement for the entire building totaling 2 floors. This final project aims to design a foundation system that can carry the load of the structure and design a retaining wall system that can provide security during basement excavation work. The design of the retaining wall has been conducted out as an 8.2 meter deep excavation protection system. The analysis was carried out with the help of PLAXIS 2D software with gradual construction modeling to determine the safety figures and deflections that occurred. The wall diameter of the pile cut walls is divided into primary walls with a diameter of 0.7 meters and secondary walls with a diameter of 0.8 meters with a depth of 22 meters. Two ground anchors were installed at a depth of -3 meters and -6 meters with a certain prestressing force. The design results in the form of impacts on retaining walls, anchor resistance, failures that may occur when the species have been checked based on the reference standards SNI 8460:2017 and SNI 1726:2019 concerning Geotechnical Design Requirements and Earthquake Resistance. The foundation design has been conducted as a structure that can be a support and that can withstand the loads of the upper structure. The foundation is a raft type foundation. Analysis of foundation calculations was carried out manually and assisted by Settle 3D and SAFE software to find the value of foundation settlement and carry out foundation reinforcement. The raft foundation has been designed with a thickness of 1,2m. The requirements for raft foundations in terms of bearing capacity, settlement limits and possible failures have been designed and checked based on the reference standards SNI 8460:2017 and SNI 1726:2019 concerning Geotechnical Design Requirements and Earthquake Resistance.
