Description
Summary:Tamborin Field is one of the gas and condensate, with oil rims field, located in the apex of modern Mahakam Delta, Kutai Basin. Tamborin has multilayer reservoirs with a main pay zone of Middle Miocene of age. These multilayer reservoirs have a different fluid contact and also as a mature field, some of gas reservoirs have been water rised. Gas data which is recorded while drilling can differentiate the fluid in the reservoir. This research is aimed to prove the hypothesis. In order to achieve the objective, pressure, electric logs, gas data, and fluid analysis data are analyzed. The result of the analysis is then integrated with the analysis of the remaining gas in place as the results of waterisation process which caused by the production. This research shows that electric log sometimes is difficult to differentiate between water rised reservoir from gas reservoir and water rise reservoir from water reservoir. This study is proposing a hypothesis that gas chromatography data can be used to differentiate fluid in reservoir.
