Unlike 0-2-year-olds in early childhood, those between 4-6 years old are in a developmental phase where they begin to understand the perspectives of others, indicating the emergence of empathy. This children's book is designed to help early children empathize with cats by understanding cat’s perspectives and reactions to how children treat them. Through this children's book, the goal is for children aged 4-6 to learn how to treat cats with kindness. By understanding a cat's feelings with empathy, it is expected that they will grow up to be caring individuals who can prevent further instances of animal abuse in the future. |
