Summary: | Planting media is a crucial factor that affects the absorption of nutrients in plants. Soilless growing media can be one of the alternatives used in supporting plant growth. One of the plants that can be cultivated using soilless media is head lettuce. This study aims to determine the best soilless media composition treatment for head lettuce leaf quality using a drip fertigation system. This study used RAL (Completely Randomized Design) with four treatments of soilless media ratio of husk charcoal + cocopeat + malang sand, namely P0 or control (1:1:1), P1 (2:1:1), P2 (1:2:1), and P3 (1:1:2) and each treatment consisted of 5 replicates with each replicate in each treatment there were 3 polybags. In this study, head lettuce plants 14 days after sowing were planted into each treatment medium and watering was carried out by means of drip fertigation using the Habibi Garden tool. Data collection was carried out after harvest which included parameters of chlorophyll a, b, and total content (mg/L), vitamin C content (%), N content (%), P content (%), K content (%), Ca content (%), and Mg content (%). Based on the research conducted, the overall results show that P2 with the comparison of the composition of soilless planting media composition of husk charcoal, cocopeat, and malang sand (1:2:1) shows better results than other treatments on the nutritional quality of head lettuce in most parameters, namely chlorophyll content, N, P, K, Ca, and Mg levels.
