Transition energy moves from conventional energy to clean energy, such as photovoltaics (PV). In the field of photovoltaics, an inverter is needed to convert the DC voltage (direct current) of solar panels into the AC voltage (alternating current) required to supply the load. In the conventional H-bridge inverter topology, the inverter has some disadvantages, such as the voltage is not sinusoidal but instead is a switched DC voltage and high common-mode voltage. Common-mode voltage can cause significant capacitive current leakage, which can cause undesirable operation in solar applications. The common solution for these situations is to add a large filter to the input or output of a conventional inverter. This paper proposes an inherent sinusoidal voltage source inverter based on a modified Cuk cell, which simultaneously produces a lower sinusoidal output voltage and common mode voltage. The proposed topology requires no additional input or output filters; Analytical expressions are drawn to confirm the operation. Simulation results were performed to confirm the mathematical analysis. The laboratory performed the test results to verify the proposed inverter. text
