The recovery of the ecosystem can be seen from indicators of animals, one of which is a bird. The purpose of this study was to determine the bird community in Mount Papandayan Nature Reserves and Nature Tourism Parks and their effect on the existing ecosystem. Observations were made in four areas, namely Tegal Alun (Severely Affected), Pondok Saladah (Moderately Affected), Ghoeber Hut (Slightly Affected), and Plot Permanen (Not Affected) using the Point Count method. The collected data will then be analyzed by calculating the Shnnon-Wiener Diversity Index (H'), determining feeding guilds, determining bird conservation status, constructing species time curves, and clustering analysis. The results of these observations were that 46 species were found, with 27 species in the Tegal Alun area, 17 species in Pondok Saladah, 19 species in Ghoeber Hut, and 30 species in Plot Permanen. 3 of the 46 species found have NT (Near Threatened) conservation status, namely Pycnonotus bimaculatus, Caprimulgus pulchellus, and Psilopogon javensis. The highest Shannon-Wiener Index (H') value was found in the Plot Permanen Area, which was 3.08, this was because the area had the highest species richness. The average active time for birds is 07.00 - 08.30 and 15.00 - 17.00. The diverse feeding guilds show that Mount Papandayan Nature Reserves and Nature Tourism Parks can support diverse bird life. Various bird species were found as bioindicators which are an indication of good habitat. The Ghoeber Hut and Pondok Saladah areas have the largest similarity index, which is 0.8, while the smallest similarity index is in the Plot Permanen area, which is 0.26. text
