Description
Summary:The coastal area of the North Coast of Java has coastal problems that can cause damage such as erosion and land subsidence. Therefore, a coastal protective structure is needed that can protect the beach from damage. Based on environmental data, it was found that the direction of sediment at the study location is parallel to the coast so that a coastal protection structure is needed that can capture sediment, so a groin type structure with a length of 350 meters will be used in the middle of the gap at the study location. The dimensions of the concrete pipe used are 60 cm in diameter, 100 cm high and 6 cm thick. The elevation of the groin peak is + 6.25 meters (MSL). Based on the stability analysis that has been carried out on the concrete pipe coastal protection structure, the condition of the empty concrete pipe meets the requirements for overturning and sliding stability during the operational period but does not meet the requirements for the construction period in layers 3 and 4 and will meet the requirements for the stability of the soil's bearing capacity if it has a deep foundation. 2.65 meters. The condition of the concrete pipe filled with stone meets all the requirements for overturning and sliding stability during the operational period and construction period, however, the requirements for the stability of the soil's bearing capacity will be met if it has a foundation with a depth of 12.3 meters. Based on material cost calculations, it was found that the material costs for the rubble mound structure were IDR 20,099,939,148 while the material costs for the concrete pipe structure were IDR 27,704,025,311.
