Description
Summary:The Baleendah flood disaster, which has become part of routine in Andir village had a lasting impact. Communities, institutions, and groups as network members were interconnected hence formed social networks to overcome flood disasters and impacts. Through in-depth interviews and social network analysis, dominant actors were found from government agencies and sub-districts at the local level. The roles of actors in the network were varied depending on disaster phases where the dominant role actors were not spared from other actors. The study also found changes in degree of network properties including density, centrality, betweenness and closeness indicating the dynamic of social network in disaster phases.
