Summary:This research aims to develop an innovative and better cultural library application to facilitate the understanding and preservation of cultural heritage. Even though Indonesia has a variety of valuable cultures, the use of previous cultural library applications still faces several challenges, both general application problems and the user interface. This research is focused on developing the frontend of a cultural library application, with the aim of improving the user experience. The implementation of this system is carried out using the Dart programming language which supports the Flutter framework. Flutter has access to the Android channel, which allows for good integration with the Android platform. To run Android applications with Flutter, the application build process uses Android Studio. Designing a mobile-based cultural library application prototype that integrates participation and archive functions, which develops from the previously existing cultural library application. Validation of this frontend development was carried out by manual black box testing with all scenarios successfully passed with 100% success. Apart from that, usability testing was also carried out by obtaining a feasibility index figure of 81% (very feasible).
