Summary:Abstract: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The activities of maintenance on the airport have less influent than the new construction. The main function of the maintenance activities were to decrease the damage level of payement layer (on runway, taxiway and apron) to keep of the payement design life and the good quality level of construction. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The purpose of this study is to the propose concept of Payement Maintenance Management System on the Airside of the Airport, particularly on the runway payement. based on the existing study. both in Indonesia and abroad. The system consists of 5 (five) principal components i.e. Data Based, Data Collection. Evaluation and Analysis, Design and Implementation. The most important stage is Evaluation and Analysis. In this stage, the payement condition data were analyzed using both the Payement Classification Number-Aircraft Classification Number method and the Payement Condition Index method. This resulting type of treatment proposed (Rehabilitation and Maintenance), type of maintenance activities (Recontruction, Structural Overlay, Thin Overlay, Surface Treatment and Routine Maintenance) and type of maintenance period (Priodic. Special and Routine). The information from this stage (Evaluation and Analysis) becomes the input data for next stage, i.e. planning and implementation stage, and used for budget calculation in one period, based on the priority scale i.e. increasing safety, capacity and serice. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This system was tried to be implemented in Supadio-Airport, Pontianak, which actually already have its maintenance system. Having carried out evaluation, it was revealed that the existing system is not really satisfied and the proposed system could improve and making the process becomes more efficient and systematic. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> To complete this proposal, it is recommended to make an Evaluation Standard for runway pavement condition in all airport in Indonesia and include economic viability consideration for each treatment that would be carried out.
