Description
Summary:Research area is in the “X” Field, in the Sorolangun District, Jambi Province, including in Central Palembang Sub-basin, South Sumatra Basin. Available data is data from 40 well, including logs, side wall cores, cuttings, fossil reports, petrophysic analysis reports and 3D seismic. Reasearch Zone is AB1 reservoir zone in Middle Miocene of Airbenakat Formation. The methodology used is including data collection, well data analysis, and identification of research zones, interpretation of lithology, depositional facies interpretation, well correlation, facies and thickness mapping models. 3D seismic is used to confirm the well correlation that was previously tied up in advance with the synthetic seismograms. There are nine sandstone intervals that make up the reservoir zones of AB1. Nine sandstone interval is from bottom to top consists of AB1-a, AB1-b, AB1-c, AB1- d, AB1-e,AB1-f, AB1-g,AB1-h, AB1-i which is deposited on the tidal channels, tidal bars, mixed flat environment with lateral environment variation of deposition at each sandstones interval. The whole nine sandstone interval has a west to east direction of sedimentation. AB1-a sandstone interval has lateral deposition environment variation is mixed flats, tidal bar and tidal channel. AB1-b sandstone intervals are interpreted as deposits mixed flat, tidal bar and tidal channel that vary laterally. AB1-c sandstone intervals are interpreted as the lateral as mixed flat, tidal bar and tidal channel. AB1-d sandstones intervals interpreted as lateral as tidal bar, mixed flat and tidal channel. AB1-e sandstones interval interpreted laterally as mixed flat, tidal bar and tidal channel. AB1-f sandstone intervals are interpreted as the lateral as mixed flat, tidal bar and tidal channel. AB1-g sandstone intervals are interpreted as the lateral as tidal bar, mixed flat and tidal channel deposits. AB1-h sandstones interval interpreted as deposits lateral as tidal bar, mixed flat and tidal channel. AB1-i sandstones interval interpreted as deposits lateral as tidal bar, mixed flat and tidal channel.
