Description
Summary:To see the amount of open land changes every year analyzing the Landsat image data downloaded from EarthExplorer USGS (United States Geological Survey). The dynamics of open land is estimated to have an impact on the numbers change in the watershed runoff coefficients force and changes in the quality and quantity of river water in the vicinity of the study. Coal mining activities cause changes in the physical characteristics of the watershed strength. Impact of derivatives cause changes in the fluctuation in the mouth of the River Power. The purpose of this study is to conduct an environmental assessment of the strength of the hydrological behavior change with respect to their coal mining operations. Rainfall-runoff simulations done using methods TopModel. Data input is variable as a data Meteorology rainfall, temperature, duration of daylight, Potential Evapotranspiration. Physical characteristics are variable Topography, Tilt, Topography Index, Pattern Watershed. The study states that the fluctuation in the watershed strength as a result of coal mining. Where the condition Qp Mine is 520 m3 / h while the natural condition of 400 m3 / h. By the time of each peak is the simulation was done to see how, when all of the coal mining concession was opened and how the environmental impacts of the DAS Power. The benefits of this research for consideration by the local government on the policy of Mining Business Permits and planning the development of coal mining in the future.
