People get used to use internet to make their life simpler, it also affect the growth of Information technology industry, Information technology industry is the highest Job field contributor from 2012 to 2015, Along with the growth of the information technology industry, it is also inseparable from the emerging of many startup technology company. start up company can not be separable from managing people and team. 92% startups failed within 3 years and bad team management is one of the reasons. Start up company need loyal employees to build a good team, loyalty defined as a steadfast allegianc to an organization causing feelings of attachment and affection, that is shown by the long length of time they have worked for the company, great work performance, and good ethical standard.
Qualitative study is used to collect and analyze the data used to know reasons employees loyal to startup technology company. The study conducted between 3 startup technology company in bandung, the preliminary study used to know the programs that management of the company build to make their employees loyal. The main study used to know which program that affect the loyalty of the employees.
This research more focus to explore the variable that may affect the employees loyalty. Based on the study, there are 27 loyalty programs that are found and build by the companies but there are only 10 programs and 4 personal reasons that affect the employees loyalty. It is expected to result in an insight for start-up technology entrepreneur to build more effective loyalty program. |
