The primary focus of this research is on the simulation and analysis of potential collision warning and automatic avoidance systems utilizing VTOL UAVs with the programming language MATLAB. The developed algorithm illustrates a responsive warning system and efficient avoidance maneuvers. Simulation results indicate that a 15° avoidance angle produces smoother and more efficient maneuvers, while a 90° angle provides a quick response but with more extreme maneuvers. The analysis also emphasizes the crucial role of the avoidance distance threshold in influencing the UAV's ability to prevent collisions. This research is expected to provide deeper insights to enhance the development of collision warning and avoidance systems in UAVs, with the goal of making UAV operations safer and more efficient in the future. text |
