Description
Summary:The amount of waste entering the Sumur Batu Landfill reaches 1000 tons/day. Waste that enters the landfill is only placed on landfills without any processing. Meanwhile, Bekasi City, especially North Bekasi Sub-District, only has one TPS 3R located in Prima Harapan Housing and is able to process waste of 0.340 tons/day. From the calculation of the amount of waste produced by North Bekasi Sub-District in 2023 of 183.29 tons/day, managed waste is only 0.18% per year so that waste processing needs to be improved. However, the land requirement for the TPS 3R increase was not met due to the absence of land for expansion. Therefore, the design of an integrated waste processing site needs to be carried out in North Bekasi Sub- District. Through the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) selection method, the selected technology to process waste at Integrated Waste Processing Site in North Bekasi Sub-District consists of making Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) products to process potentially recycled waste that has combustible properties and Black Soldier Fly (BSF) cultivation to process food waste. Based on the results of sampling conducted for 8 consecutive days, Integrated Waste Processing Site in North Bekasi Sub-District received 242.97 tons/day (100% service) in 2044, able to process potentially recycled waste that has combustible properties as much as 65.46 tons/day (26.94%), and food waste as much as 153.34 tons/day (63.11%). The products produced from the processing consist of RDF products that will be distributed to PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa, wet larvae sold to the livestock and fisheries sector throughout Bekasi City, and dried kasgot sold to the agricultural and plantation sector in North Bekasi Sub-District.
