Positive public perception of forest management is an important factor in partnership management. The purpose of this study is knowing community perceptions regarding KHDTK Arcamanik existence and forest use potensial, bamboo management, agroforestry management, and determining suitable bamboo and agroforestry plants. Data collection methods in this research were carried out through direct observation in the field, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, Forum Group Discussion (FGD), and literature study. The sample of respondents was 100 people in Mekarmanik Village who were involved in interactions with KHDTK Arcamanik based on the Slovin formula. Data analysis was carried out using a descriptive quantitative method of Likert scale measurement of perceptions which determines the scale of community attitudes and assessment of indicators which determine recommended plants. Community perception of KHDTK Arcamanik existence and forest use potensial received a high attitude scale category with a value of 1.61. Community perception of bamboo management obtained a low attitude scale with a value of 0.45. And the community perception of agroforestry management obtained a high attitude scale with a value of 1.50. Gigantochloa apus is the type of bamboo that has the highest value and Coffea arabica is the type of agroforestry plant that has the highest value based on commmunity perception. text |
