INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/79148 Based on the observation at Jenderal Ahmad Yani Semarang International Airport (SRG) there has been a buildup of vehicles in the drop-zone area and a shift in the function of the curbside which should function to drop off and pick up passengers to become a premium parking facility and valet parking creating a buildup of vehicles in the curbside area. In addition, the increase in the average number of passengers by 6% and the use of vehicles by passengers to SRG Airport by 85% has the potential to increase traffic density. Therefore, this study aims to determine the forecast traffic load and parking capacity planning to accommodate the traffic load so that it is always in optimal condition. Traffic movement data coming to SRG Airport during August 2023 was analyzed using 3 (three) analysis methods. First, Seasonal Forecasting is used to calculate the forecast of traffic load in the following weeks. Second, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is used to determine the weighting in determining the location of vehicle parking. Lastly, the Capacity Planning method is used to ensure that SRG Airport has the parking capacity that is appropriate to the incoming traffic load. According to the the analysis, the forecasted traffic load of vehicles heading to SRG Airport has a similar fluctuation pattern every day, which is calculated based on the pattern of the day resulting in an average increase in vehicles per week by 1.12%. Weighting the selection of parking locations results in selection in the order: drop-off zone, parking lot, parking building, premium parking, drop-off zone + 1 turn, premium parking + 1 turn, parking lot + 1 turn, and parking building + 1 turn. Overall, of the 4 (four) parking facilities at SRG Airport, all of them can accommodate the load of the number of vehicles coming in at each hour by allocating each parking location according to its capacity with a parking satisfaction index of 0.694 on a scale of 1. text
