This issue has become a significant focal point on a global scale, particularly in the efforts to maintain a balance between meeting human needs and preserving the environment. In response to this challenge, the concept of circular economy has emerged as a paradigm aiming to reduce the wastage of natural resources while maximizing the use of materials and products to enhance economic value. Indonesia, as a developing country, is committed to adopting the principles of the circular economy. Indonesian government specifically supports the construction sector as one that can implement this concept. This commitment is part of the efforts to achieve the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) established in the Paris Agreement, simultaneously addressing the needs of National Economic Recovery (PEN) post the Covid-19 pandemic. The significance of implementing a circular economy in the construction sector is evident from the substantial amount of resources used and waste generated by this industry. This research aims to assess the extent of awareness among construction industry stakeholders in Indonesia regarding the circular economy concept. This awareness serves as the foundation for the potential application of circular economy principles in the Indonesian construction industry. The data collection method involves distributing online questionnaires to construction industry stakeholders in Indonesia, with a focus on consultants, contractors, and EPC service providers. The research findings indicate that respondents are aware of key aspects of the circular economy, including the construction business model, closed-loop material systems, and the minimization of energy and natural resource usage. Despite this awareness, the implementation of circular economy practices is still limited to specific projects or companies. In a fully realized circular economy concept, changes occur throughout the entire system. Therefore, to derive benefits from the circular economy, the construction sector requires collaboration with other industrial sectors. text
