The Planetary Nebula (PN) is a short transition stage for low to medium mass stars. In the case of PNs, the temperature of the ionizing star can be said to be crucial information to become the initial basis for understanding the ionization structure of complex PNs. This research focuses on analyzing the effective temperature of the central star of the planetary nebula DdDm-1, PN with a binary central star located in the galactic halo. Data for this study were obtained from IUE and HST FOS spectroscopic observations. The continuum fitting method using the Planck function is used to approach the effective temperature value of the PN central star. Comparisons were also made with other methods such as stoy temperature, Zanstra temperature, etc., to evaluate the advantages and limitations of the continuum fitting method in determining effective temperature. text |
