Description
Summary:This research was conducted to evaluate the vulnerability (vulnerability) to the availability of water resources based on exposure variables (exposure) and sensitivity (sensitivity), and adaptation capacity (adaptive capacity) in Cikapundung watershed, West Java. Vulnerability evaluation is carried out by calculating vulnerability indexes through a spatial approach by assigning value weights to each indicator using ArcGIS software. Thiessen's polygon method is also used to calculate regional rainfall. The results of the monthly rainfall calculation show that the rain pattern in the Cikapundung watershed is a monsoon rain pattern. The results of the exposure index show that most sub-districts in Bandung and West Bandung Regencies, as well as Bandung and Cimahi Cities get quite high to high indices. However, the adaptation capacity index for Sukasari and Lembang Districts is quite high. Then, the results show climate variability affects rainfall, due to the tendency to decline annual rainfall in the last 15 years.
