The plywood industry began to spread in various parts of Indonesia. One of them is in Gorontalo Province, where the Katingan Timber Group Company has a permit to use production forest to become a plywood processing industry, most of which plywood products will be exported. To support the export implementation, it is necessary to plan a container berth and trestle facility located in Tudi Bay, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. In this final project, we will discuss the design of the berth and trestle structure based on the design criteria used. The scope of this final project includes environmental data processing, calculation of the load acting on the berth, determining the dimensions of the structure, structural analysis modeling, structural element reinforcement planning, precast concrete element dimension planning, and analysis of the bearing capacity of the soil at the berth location. Structural analysis modeling was performed using SAP2000 software. Modeling is needed to determine the reliability of the planned structure against working loads. The results of the modeling consist of the value of the unity check ratio (UCR), the deflection of the structural elements, the forces in the structure, and the reaction of the placement. The design of the berth structure must meet the criteria for the UCR value between 0.8 to 1.0 and the deflection of the structural elements must be less than the allowable deflection limit. Examination of the reinforcement ratio is needed in determining the optimal cross-sectional area in the design of reinforcement for structural elements. Dimensions of precast concrete beams and slabs need to be planned to ensure the strength of the structural elements during construction. Calculation of the bearing capacity of the soil is also needed to determine the depth of the pile required to be able to withstand the load of the laying reaction on the berth structure. text |
