Summary:Fluid flow velocity is one of the most commonly used measurement unit. There are various methods to measure fluid flow velocity. Ultrasonic wave as a wavelet which can be transmitted through fluids is one of the method to do the measurement. In this method, the travel time of ultrasonic wave under flowing fluid is compared with the travel time with no flowing fluid. The time difference will then be used to calculate the velocity. System test results showed the velocity value obtained using ultrasonic method is similar with results obtained using method based on Bernoulli equation.
