Listening to music can be done through various ways, one of them is music streaming. One of the music streaming services in Indonesia is Langit Musik. Langit Musik is a music streaming service from Indonesia that was established in 2010. Even though Langit Musik application has been for quite a while, there are still a lot of complaints from the users. According to reviews from Google Play Store and result of preliminary questionnaire that is conducted on twenty respondents, one of Langit Musik's main problem is its usability. The purpose of this study is to evaluate Langit Musik app's usability and give improvement suggestions to address existing usability problems. This study is conducted using usability evaluation technique, with usability testing as its research method and design sprint as its improvement method. Usability evaluation is conducted for seven main problems which are account registration, account login, profile completion, song search, playlist making, song playing, and song download. Data research in usability testing uses three main parameters which are effectivity, efficiency, and user satsifaction. Data research is conducted using remote usability testing methode which involve five old users and five new users as participants. Based on the result of this study, Langit Musik's usability was low with low effectiveness on several tasks, low efficiency, and user satsifaction level that had low score and could still be improved. This study generates twenty-three improvement suggestion that could improve Langit Musik’s usability. text |
