Indonesia. One of PT Everbright's product that has been known by people is the
ABC battery. In producing ABC batteries, PT Everbright uses advanced
technology, machines, and laboratories to produce high quality products. PT
Everbright is also equipped with a control system with standard procedures in
monitoring all production process at every stage to ensure the best battery quality.
One of the proofs is that the company have ISO 9001 certification.
There is a problem when producing dry batteries in the factory, especially for the
UM-3 battery type. That there are still many defective products from the production
process carried out. The results of the defective products are obtained from the
results of inspections by inspectors so that the defective product doesn’t reach the
hands of consumers. The number of defective products has made PT Everbright not
yet achieved six sigma until now. Therefore, research will be conducted on the
quality of PT Everbright’s products using the six sigma methodology. The output of
this research are the factors that cause defects that make PT Everbright not reach
the level of six sigma and solutions to the factors that cause these defects. |
