To produce human resources that can meet these needs, training/learning support facilities are also needed that are in accordance with conditions in the field and are not left behind in terms of technology utilization. Related to this, ITB Engineering Physics study program has a BDT921 control system training facility that can show the process of boilers and heat exchangers with various equipment used in industry. However, due to the COVID19 pandemic, this system has been neglected and is not in a ready-to-use condition. In order for the system to be maximally utilized, in this research, a re-integration of the system architecture is carried out by involving Internet of Things implementation, as well as asset virtualization to obtain process digital models with characteristics similar to its physical assets. Integration is done by designing HMI, assembling microcontroller-based I/O module, setting up VPN peers, then creating PLC and Node-RED programs. Moreover, asset virtualization is done by creating models using the process state equations then estimating various parameters used, based on the data acquired from the physical asset. The result is a system that successfully controls and acquires data, and the sum square error (SSE) is 12.88 for LCV11 valve digital model, 23.83 for TCV11 valve, 11.08 for boiler tank, and 2.50 for heat exchanger. text
