Furthermore, the government's proposal to relocate Indonesia's capital from Jakarta, with an investment of IDR490.7 trillion ($34 billion), will benefit the economy in the near and medium term by expanding industrial output. Over the last nine years, PT Tripondasi Manunggal, one of Indonesia's pile contractors, has effectively expanded its business. The trend of tender victories over the last three years, however, shows outcomes that fall short of the company's goals. To compete in the construction industry, PT Tripondasi Manunggal must develop a new business plan in order to win the market and locate sustainable suppliers. The study conducted in this final project is divided into three sections to aid PT Tripondasi Manunggal in developing a new business strategy: external analysis using the PESTEL and Porter Five Forces frameworks, internal analysis using the VRIO framework, and SWOT analysis. The TOWS strategy is then used to carry out strategy formulation. Based on the findings of the analysis of the data obtained from the interviews and survey questionnaires of selected stakeholders, recommendations were made to PT Tripondasi Manunggal to pursue a weakness-opportunity approach, in which improvements to the company's shortcomings are exploited to capitalize on potential possibilities in the construction industry. text
