Summary:This capstone project discusses about designing and analysing premixed combustion chamber with swirler for the 600 W-powered micro gas turbine. Parameters used for designing combustion chamber are obtained from comparing equivalent micro gas turbines and Garrett GT2052 turbocharger performance. Geometry designs are created with Solidworks software. Simulations for the operation of combustion chamber are done by ANSYS Fluent software. The dimensions of combustion chamber design are 70,0 mm casing diameter and 70,7 mm liner length. The simulation result for first design shows the performance of 2,59% pressure loss and 0,332 pattern factor during on-design condition. The simulation result for second design shows the performance of 5,84% pressure loss and 0,437 pattern factor during on-design condition.
