Description
Summary:The Derwati Temporary Shelter is located in the Derwati Village, Rancasari Subdistrict, Bandung City. The service area of the Derwati Temporary Shelter is located in the SWK Kordoga (Kordon-Gedebage) region, encompassing Derwati Village, several neighborhoods in the Buahbatu District, and the Gedebage District. The existing waste management system at the Derwati Waste Processing Site includes waste sorting with potential for recycling, transfer from collection vehicles to transport vehicles, and the resale of recyclable waste. The design involves expanding the existing structure and adding new facilities for the processing of food waste and other types of waste. The planned capacity is 23.7 tons per day or 458.17 m3 per day. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is employed, with Anaerobic digestion and Refuse-derived fuel identified as the preferred alternatives for biological waste processing, including food waste. Recyclable waste such as PET, PVC, glass, metal, and hazardous waste, as well as residues, are separated through manual sorting. Recyclable waste is sold, hazardous waste is sent to a Hazardous Waste Processing Site (TPS-B3), and residue is transported to the Legok Nangka Final Waste Disposal Site for further processing. The final products resulting from the Rancasari District Waste Processing Site include 6.03 tons per day of Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF), 15.54 m3 per day of compost, 1302.53 m3 per day of methane (CH4), and 0.71 tons per day of potentially recyclable waste. The required area for building the Rancasari District Waste Processing Site is 1890 m2. The total budget for construction (CAPEX) is Rp 8,042,662,854, equivalent to Rp 4,125,500.31 per m2. The operational budget (OPEX) is planned at Rp 929,734 per year or Rp 262,193 per ton for processing.
