With that interconnection system, region which lack of source of power can be fulfill by transferred power from region which abundance of power. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The most faults that occur in Java-Bali 500 kV transmission line is one phase to ground fault. This fault will cause instability in power system. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Transient stability is the capability of power system to sustain the generator synchron. when subjected a severe disturbance. When a generator doesnt synchron with the system, the generators rotor is not rotated with the systems frequency. To prevent the generator from a severe damage because of this unsynchronise, one way that can be take is release the generator from the entire system. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Transient unstability in short circuit one phase to ground fault is the disturbance that connected with clearing time of that disturbance. The generator will loss its synchronise if the critical clearing time is smaller than the Circuit Breaker time setting. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The design of transmition system as its function of a power transmission, need attention for the transient stability limitation. Disturbance which happen in power system can happen from any where, like trip of a line, short circuit, loss of a load or a burden etc. The design for the power system must ready from any kind of those disturbance. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This final project is a study to measure the transient stability limitation or the capability of power system transmission line to one phase-ground fault in the middle of transmission line, to know the critical clearing time in every transmission line in Java-Bali 500 kV power system and to analize the transient stability. <br /> text
