The landfill has a capacity to handle 140 tons of waste daily. One of the potential environmental issues associated with waste is the pollution of groundwater quality. This research aims to investigate the hydrogeological conditions, groundwater flow patterns, and simulate the potential movement of contaminants, specifically iron and manganese, over the next 10 years. Simulation modeling of iron and manganese contaminants in shallow groundwater was conducted using Visual MODFLOW 3.1, based on hydrogeological data. The surveys included groundwater level measurements, groundwater sample analysis, geological surveys involving morphological and lithological observations from geoelectric and core drilling, climatological data, and other supporting data. The results of this study are presented quantitatively in the form of a groundwater flow model. The hydrostratigraphic units consist of aquicludes and aquitards. The aquicludes are composed of tuff, while the aquitards are formed by andesite igneous rocks. The respective hydraulic conductivity values are 1x10-7 m/s for aquicludes and 1x10-11 m/s for aquitards. Laboratory testing of the groundwater revealed parameters that exceeded the quality standards set by Permenkes RI No. 2 of 2023 (Environmental Health Quality Standards for Water Parameters for Hygiene and Sanitation Purposes). These parameters include pH, iron, and manganese. Contaminant simulation modeling is conducted to determine the distribution range for the next 10 years. The results of the simulation modeling show that iron spreads horizontally up to 538.11 m towards the northeast, with a depth of 15 m. Additionally, manganese spreads up to 233.48 m towards the northeast, also with a depth of 15 m. text
