Some of the suspected causes of this flooding are sea level rise, excessive groundwater extraction and land subsidence. Various efforts have been made to control this problem, ranging from building polder, pumps, retention reservoirs, coastal embankments, to offshore embankments. The current program is the construction of coastal embankments. This research will determine the design of Muara Angke coastal embankment elevation height that can withstand flooding in the coastal area. The main data required in designing coastal embankment elevations are tides, wind, waves, sea level rise (SLR), and land subsidence (LS). The tidal data required are MSL (mean sea level) and HHWL (highest high water level) design. To obtain these data, Delft3D flow hydrodynamic modeling was initially conducted. After that, the results of this modeling are processed with ERGTIDE, ERGRAM, and ERGELV software to obtain both data. The MSL and HHWL values are 1.415 m and 0.707 m (+MSL), respectively. Then, the wind data required are V50 (50-year return period wind speed) and ? (wind direction of incidence) of the design. These two data were obtained from era5 with values of 17.77 m/s and 315º respectively. Then, the required wave data are Hb (breaking wave), Tp (peak wave period), Tm01 (average wave period) design. These three data are obtained from the Delft3D wave modeling results. The values of the three parameters are 1.75 m, 2.4 s and 1.8 s, respectively. The design SLR and LS values are obtained from literature sources with values of 0.0075 m/year and 0.0437 m/year. Then, the parameters mentioned above are used as input for the coastal embankment elevation calculation formula. The coastal embankment elevation obtained is 9.5 m. text |
