However, it is still struggling with the problem of inefficiency. Currently, the construction industry has started to apply the concept of lean construction. In its application, lean construction has several tools that can be used, and what is currently being developed is the Last Planner System (LPS). Research on the last planner system so far carried out in Indonesia has only focused on one particular case study and emphasized certain stages and percent plan complete (PPC) values. Therefore, through this research, it is intended to review and examine more deeply related to the overall implementation, perceived dominant benefits and constraints, as well as the fulfillment of critical factors in the successful implementation of LPS. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and followed up with interviews with people who were actively involved during the implementation of LPS in BUMN construction companies that had and/or were currently implementing LPS. By using descriptive analysis, the results show that LPS has been implemented by 2 BUMN companies in Indonesia since 2020, emphasizing the stages of Lookahead Planning, Weekly Work Planning, and Learning. The basic thing that distinguishes the two is PT. X emphasizes collaboration when filling out forms, while PT. Y emphasizes collaboration when doing pull planning. The fulfillment of the CSF still needs to be improved, and there are still dominant obstacles such as low and uneven understanding of the LPS, the need for additional time in filling out forms, and the low consistency in filling out the forms at each stage of the LPS. The benefits that are most dominantly felt include forming a new mindset in the field, better communication and coordination, and smoother workflow. Thus, the benefits of LPS are that work can be planned, monitored, and evaluated more easily. text
