This residential house has the ability to float when a flood occurs by utilizing the buoyancy force of the EPS block material located below the house. The residential house designed measures 16 x 18 meters and will use a driven pile foundation with a diameter of 0.4 meters with a pile length of 24 meters. Calculation of the axial capacity of the foundation is done manually and for further checking using the Ensoft GROUP application. As for the lateral bearing capacity using the help of the Ensoft LPile application. To realize the floating house concept, the bottom of this house has a pool that will be filled with flood water when it occurs to lift the EPS blocks and wooden structures from the residential house. This pool is built using a retaining wall with a cantilever type as high as 4.5 meters. Calculation of stability is done manually and using the Plaxis 2D application To ensure that residential areas are not affected by excessive flood runoff from the Ciliwung River, embankments will also be built made of compacted soil as high as 2 meters. To help stabilize the riverbanks due to weight of embankment, precast sheetpile from PT. WIKA Beton with a length of 20 meters will be used. Calculation of river bank stability is done manually and using the Plaxis 2D application. text
