Description
Summary:This final project elaborates on the design and implementation of a handheld device aimed at enhancing the efficiency of plywood counting in the Getstok Bandung Warehouse. The primary focus of this study is on the image acquisition subsystem, which ensures that the captured images meet the necessary resolution for effective processing. Significant contributions of this research include ensuring that the captured images are suitable for image processing needs, determining the optimal flash method, and designing an ergonomic casing for user comfort. This device integrates with the Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 using the Picamera2 and libcamera libraries, which enhances its functionality. Key developments discussed in this project include a feature for full and smooth preview and the handling of fish-eye distortion in images, aiming to provide a robust and user-centric solution for warehouse operational efficiency. Overall, this project guarantees good image capture of plywood, ensuring that this solution not only improves accuracy and efficiency in counting but also provides comfort and ease for the user.
