This final project addresses the inefficiencies inherent in the manual plywood counting process within the operational framework of the Getstok warehouse in Bandung. Manual procedures in the inbound, outbound, and stock taking (SO) processes cause significant time consumption, risk of errors, and loss of substantial daily profit opportunities. To overcome this challenge, our team proposed a custom handheld device designed for fast and precise plywood calculations, with my focus in this project dedicated to creating a graphical user interface (GUI). The important role of the GUI lies in enabling good and smooth interaction with the user, simplifying image analysis, and increasing speed- precision in plywood calculations, thereby minimizing human errors. By studying things related to GUIs, which include visual elements and user-centered features, my task in designing and implementing the GUI on this tool aims to optimize the user experience, complementing the calculation capabilities of this plywood counter handheld technology.
