Summary: | Indramayu Regency is one of the coastal areas on the North Coast of the Java Sea with low elevation. This causes the coastal areas of Indramayu Regency to be vulnerable to the threat of coastal disasters such as land subsidence, coastal erosion and sea level rise. Several previous studies have shown that in Indramayu Regency there is a phenomenon of coastal disasters, which of course will have an economic impact on the exposed environment. For this reason, the aim of this research is to conduct an analysis of economic losses caused by coastal disasters in the Indramayu Regency area. The approach used to calculate economic losses is the direct economic loss approach, which is carried out using a building damage approach and land loss calculations. From the research, disaster magnitude values were obtained in the coastal areas of Indramayu Regency for land subsidence (0.007 – 0.125 m/year), coastal erosion (-5.01 m/year), and sea level rise (8.39 mm/year. For the rate of land subsidence in Indramayu Regency itself is almost equal to the rate of land subsidence in Jakarta and the rate of sea level rise is above the global average. The impact of economic losses incurred, both existing and potential economic losses that could occur in the future for Indramayu Regency is large, where the largest existing economic loss from coastal erosion is 1.8 trillion Rupiah and the largest projected economic loss due to land subsidence is 2.3 trillion Rupiah.
