Summary:This project explores continued fractions of real numbers, both rational numbers and irrational numbers, which are obtained through iteration. The iteration process can be carried out using the Euclid Algorithm method. From this process, simple finite continued fractions for rational numbers and simple infinite continued fractions for irrational numbers are obtained. Beside that, Lagrange Theorem about continued fractions for quadratic irrational numbers is also discussed. Knowledge about continued fractions enables teachers to give students better insights about rational and irrational numbers.
