Description
Summary:PT. Pusatex is one of the largest sarong factories in Pekalongan, engaging in various business lines ranging from sarong production to printing and packaging. Specifically, PT. Pusatex not only limits itself to producing sarongs under its own brand but also accepts orders for sarongs from various other brands. The aim of this thesis research is to propose the implementation of a performance management system with a focus on the Integrated Performance Management System (IPMS) at PT. Pusatex. Recognizing the importance of a robust performance management framework, the proposed system aims to address key challenges within the company, including high expense, traditional marketing methods, the absence of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the company's system. By implementing IPMS, the goal is to enhance the overall company performance, align business objectives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The proposed implementation involves several stages, including planning, design, and systematic execution, ensuring comprehensive coverage at all organizational levels. Key components involve the definition of clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), aligning newly formed company goals with the vision and mission, conducting team coaching activities, and addressing operational challenges through the maintenance of machinery and production tools. Additionally, the implementation of this system emphasizes the importance of employee training, monitoring production processes, and developing digital marketing skills to adapt to the modern world. The evaluation and refreshment stage is an integral part of the proposed system, aiming to monitor continuous performance, collect feedback, and make necessary adjustments to maintain the effectiveness of IPMS. The primary objective is to shape a dynamic and responsive performance management system that not only addresses current challenges but also positions PT. Pusatex to build an effective performance management system to compete with global competitors.
