Description
Summary:The research area is located at SS Field, Desa Doudo, Kecamatan Panceng Kabupaten Gresik, East Java Province. Geologically the research area is included in East Java basin. The research will be analysis spreading of fasies carbonate Ngimbang Formation base on cluster analysis for rocktype and combine with core data and analysis stratigrafi. Challenges in the characterization of the carbonate reservoar are related to facies. Firsly analysis starting with regional study, structure model, petrophysiscs analysis with deterministic and then clustering. In order to define carbonat facies in each formation and determine the litofacies in order wells, integrated fasies analysis has been done by elaborating core data, biostratigraphy, petrography data, seismic stratigraphy and electrofacies. The results of the comparison will serve as a foundation for the conclusions as to whether the fasies spreading with quality of carbonat reservoar at SS Field, East Java Basin. Facies analysis tend a result in study area consist 6(six) lithofacies: lithofacies A (wackestone, offwhite, cream, white, hard, stylolite, infill by black material, trace foram besar), lithofacies B (wackestone-packstone, light grey, trace brownshgrey, hard-very hard, trace benthic foram, non-poor visible intercrystallin), lithofacies C (neomorphosed indetermine bioclastic wackestone – packstone & neomorphosed corraline red alga packstone), lithofacies D (bioclast-intraclast wackestonepackstone), lithofacies E (bioclast-intraclast wackestone-packstone & bioclast red alga grainstone), lithofacies F (wackestone, light grey, white, translucent, hard, trace fossil foram, crystallin, shell fragment). As those data growth lithofacies in study area area shelf carbonate with facies association lagoon and reef carbonate with facies association patch reef at Late Eocene. Base on petrophysics analysis data in studi area for shelf carbonate facies has properties value such as porosity 0,48-6 %, permeability 0.005-1.4 mD whereas reef facies has porosity value 7,8-8,2 %, permeability 5-10 mD, so we can conclude that litology propertis reef facies better than shelf carbonate facies and facies influenced reservoir quality..
