Description
Summary:This thesis research aims to provide proposals for implementing a performance management system with a focus on the Knowledge-Based Performance Management System (KBPMS) in companies. PT. CINTA PANCI Sendiri (CPS) is a manufacturing company that produces various types of household goods. In running its business, this company faces several significant challenges related to performance management aspects. Recognizing the importance of a solid performance management framework to ensure a company's sustainability and growth, researchers propose a system aimed at addressing the company's key challenges. The main challenges include product marketing that still uses traditional methods and the lack of implementation of key performance indicators (KPI) in the company's management system. This research produces a performance management system with 23 main performance indicators (KPI) derived from vision, mission, strategy, business processes, and discussions between researchers and companies. It is hoped that by implementing this performance management, the company will be able to achieve its business targets. The integrated performance management system produced by research can help PT. CINTA PANCI SENDIRI (CPS) carries out more comprehensive performance measurements and evaluations. Thus, companies can make continuous improvements to increase efficiency and competitiveness. Before KBPMS, companies faced the challenges of data integration, passive employees, fragmented activities, narrow financial focus, and a lack of independent evaluation. KBPMS overcomes this by collaborating on data, empowering employees, aligning activities with the company's vision and mission, and building autonomous mechanisms. The guiding principles - simplicity, long-term perspective, timely execution, continuous improvement and a data-driven approach are designed to increase efficiency and support company growth. Holistic KBPMS promises an integrated, empowered and strategically focused organizational environment, with the hope of improving performance through structured knowledge management and alignment with long-term goals.
