Summary:Economic trends show positive results which are reflected in economic growth of 5.3%. Therefore, many companies are trying to achieve maximum performance in 2024 through careful planning and strategies to improve company performance beyond the previous year's achievements, 2023. Achieving performance is a process that requires various resources such as finance, personnel, tools, time, and others. Therefore, company performance represents the level of achievement of policies/programs/activities by using various resources to achieve predetermined company goals. In the strategy formulation process, a series of steps are carried out to plan, develop and implement management strategies in business. To accurately determine the direction and objectives of strategic management, it is necessary to analyze the external and internal environment. In this research, analysis of internal and external environmental factors can be carried out using various tools such as SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), PESTEL analysis (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental, Legal). The aim of this research is to analyze appropriate strategic management in the research subject (PT. Auto Putra Andalan) with the main aim of increasing market growth and developing strategies that are effectively aligned with the company's internal and external environmental conditions. The results of this research produce: based on the grand strategy quadrant, it falls into Quadrant 1. Quadrant 1 emphasizes that the company's conditions allow it to grow. The growth that PT. APA can make efforts to expand existing portfolios and add new business portfolios as new income generators. This grand strategy is supported by determining the company's strategic objectives through installing a SWOT analysis on the TOWS Matrix. Based on this TOWS Matrix, PT. APA has identified 20 interrelated strategic objectives that collectively lead to the company's financial targets.
