Description
Summary:Automation has emerged as an indispensable asset across industries in today's dynamic business environment. Among the sectors significantly impacted by this transformative technology, the financial industry stands ready to adopt and harness its benefits swiftly. Automation speeds up processes and ensures the maintenance of business quality standards. However, it's crucial to acknowledge that not all tasks can be automated, only repetitive and routine ones lend themselves to automation. Thus, decision-makers play a pivotal role in strategizing how to fully capitalize on the advantages of automation. Considering these developments and trends, this research will focus on assessing the ability of Asuransi Astra's digital teams to implement a fully automated testing process for its digital products. The author used qualitative mixed with quantitative data and processed the business solution using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI Matrix). By analyzing various factors that can influence the successful implementation of automated testing, this research provides insights into determining which features must be prioritized to be tested by automation within Asuransi Astra's digital products. The results showed that Acquisition (0.499) feature is the first prioritization, followed by PostAcquisition (0.385) and Pre-Acquisition (0.165). Execution of these prioritization tests falls within the members in the digital team, including Product Owner, Business Analyst, Developers, and Quality Assurance (QA) professionals. To enhance the testing process, a strategy model derived from observational data and role point analysis, facilitates a synchronized team approach. This model described detail about role expectations, aligning team efforts, and fostering a harmonized approach towards automation test teamwork and strategy. Ultimately, this research not only prioritizes testing features but also furnishes a strategic testing roadmap. It plans to create an environment conducive to seamlessly integrating automated testing practices within Asuransi Astra's digital landscape, enhancing efficiency and making synergy among its digital teams.
